Choosing a theme for the year ahead to take the lead and step up in your life NOW!

When you start off on the journey of pursuing the life that you want, something awesome happens. Your feeling of happiness and sense of fulfillment increases and it actually rubs off on the people around you. They want to hop on the ride with you, help you make your dreams happen, and even change their lives for the better too.

Did you take the time over the holidays to decide on what you want to create for yourself this year?

At this time of the year, people often set resolutions or goals to help them create what they want. Sadly less than 10% of the people are actually successful in turning these resolutions and goals into reality.

Personally, I like to look at the bigger and holistic picture of my life. I’ve found that by defining themes for myself over the last few years, I’ve actually grown beyond my personal dreams and professional goals in a soulful and authentic way.

If you haven’t already, I’d like to invite you to take a moment to think about your theme for the year ahead.

Ask yourself some questions along these lines:

• How do you want to show up in your life, at work, or in your business?
• What’s the bigger plan for your life?
• Who do you want to be?

You may come up with one theme that spans across your personal and professional life, or you may come up with multiple themes for yourself. I selected 2 themes for myself this year, which will serve as my compass all along 2021. My professional theme is Empower and my personal theme is Connection.

This year for me is all about empowering women to take the lead and step up in their lives. I want women all over the world to show up as the best version of themselves in all areas of their lives, to be intentional and fearless in their personal and professional choices, and to live a life that is meaningful and rewarding to themselves and the people around them.

My life is rich, beautiful, and colorful especially because of the people I meet. The relationship with them has a huge impact on my happiness and quality of life. So this year I want to explore, develop, deepen, and repair my friendships and connections with the amazing people in my life.
