How being One of the Peas in a Pod will upgrade your Life

You’ve probably heard of people who are “birds of a feather” or “peas in a pod,” but why do you think that “like” hangs out with “like”?

It makes sense, of course, that you would join with others who you share a commonality with in some way. This is how we’ve found friends since we were little.

As adults, though, this desire for community takes on a whole new level. We not only need to hang out with those who are like us, but we also need to hang out with those who have similar aspirations.

Do you feel like you fit with your tribe? Or are you in need of support with another community of people who are setting goals and thriving, always reaching for the next level?

Your identity is very much linked to the people you hang out with. And if everyone you are around is stuck . . . complacent . . . floundering . . . what effect do you think that will have on you?

If you want to be more successful, start connecting to the people who are more successful. If you want to become an expert, start hanging out with the experts. If you want to impact your world, meet others who are making an impact.

To uplevel, it’s up to you to take that first step.

So where do you find all these people ready to step into their worth?

1. Real life—Yes, you really can connect with these people face-to-face. They exist everywhere! Look at your community’s calendar to see if any groups announce their meetings that way, or search on Meetup.com for local groups in your field of interest. Those who are really passionate about what they do want to be around others who are passionate about the same thing, and the energy when you are physically present with a group like this is truly magical. It can help you rise to the next level!
2. Virtually—Search Facebook for groups that are in your field of interest. A virtual group is a great place to ask questions, support others, and discover new ways of thinking and going beyond with your interest. In fact, my own Facebook  group provides support for those who need a little direction in their own path. Join us so we can help you grow and achieve!

Remember that your community is your choice. If you want to step beyond where you’ve always been, then join with others paving the way to a more fulfilling life!
